The Candy Film studio in Baldersgade 6, as it looked in the 70` Colorclimax filmproductions.Candy Film began in humble circumstances in the cellar of the original headquarters. In 1973 CCC moved to Baldersgade and made a studio that had all facilities a modern studio would require.The Candy film studio closed in 1986 when Jens Theander left and his brother Peter Theander took over by himself and went on with the CCC from Rodox Huset at Strandlodsvej 61.In the 20 years Candy Film existed over 2000 films had been shot. The closing of Candy marked the end of an era in blue-movie making.

This newspaper ad, from the mid 70s, says that you could get 4000,- DKR. pr. shoot for girls with "big, beautiful boobs".The equal today is around 18000 DKR or 3000 USD.Which means you could live fairly well with two shoots a month.Except for free booze there was a lot of drinking.Some models had pleasure, for others it was a job.Also there was love in the air in the studios between models and staff.

Jens Theander Leaving Copenhagen and the Candy Film Studio in July 1985 and moved to London with his family. Shortly after Candy Film closed. Peter Theander took over the business by himself from the headquater at Strandlodsvej.
